You are currently viewing What is an insurance broker?

To put it simply, an Insurance Broker is your biggest supporter when it comes to buying any kind of insurance. They are there to find you the best deal on your insurance by getting to know you and your needs and then taking the information to their providers to see who will provide you with the best deal – suited for you. This will not only save you money, but it will save you the time of having to search on your own.

Additionally, our relationship with you is longterm; we’re available to answer your questions and assist with renewals, changes to your plan, and claims for as long as you have a policy. When you have difficult or special circumstances, a broker can be especially helpful since we can source solutions from multiple providers in a way that’s seamless to you.

We Work For You

Insurance Brokers do not work for one specific insurance provider, although some insurance provider representatives claim they are “brokers.” Let me just say, be cautious when you are dealing with the term broker. A real “broker” has access to multiple plans and products, not just those offered by one insurance provider. Because insurance brokers do not work for any of the insurance providers, we are not working to a sales goal or trying to hit budgets. We truly are looking out for the best needs of our clients.

Our Services Are FREE to You

So if we don’t work for the insurance provider, and we are working for you, does that mean you have to pay us? NO! We are paid, on an ongoing basis, by the insurance provider who you buy your Insurance from. We work with you from the time you decide you are interested in purchasing insurance to the time you get your coverage. And it doesn’t stop there – your broker will be there for you to answer any questions or concerns for the duration of your term, and when things change as your business grows!
