For the majority of employees, the most utilized benefits of a group insurance plan are Extended Health and Dental. As employees tend to associate a good program with fast, efficient claim payments, you want to ensure the benefit company you’re working with offers convenient ways for employees to submit claims, and provides quick reimbursement.

The Chambers Plan allows many quick and easy options to submit claims. Prescription drug claims can be reimbursed at the point of purchase using their Telus ASSURE card, which is accepted at pharmacies right across Canada.

The Plan is also a member of Telus’ eProvider network which allows 18,000 healthcare providers across the country including acupuncturists, chiropractors, massage therapists, naturopaths, physical rehabilitation therapists, psychologists and vision care providers to submit claims directly to the Plan on your behalf. Employees will know immediately if their

claim has been accepted and what deductible or co-insurance may be outstanding.

With the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan, employees have access to an online administration system, my-benefits.ca. Not only do they have electronic access to their coverage, through my-benefits eClaims employees can save time and paper by submitting most Health and Dental claims electronically. To submit a claim, employees simply log into their my-benefits account, click on the Submit Claims tab and then follow the on-screen prompts. Most claims are typically processed within 48 hours and money is deposited directly into the employee’s bank account. The employee will then receive an email notifying them their claim has been processed.

With a number of convenient ways for employees to submit claims, the Chambers Plan is committed to providing the best service possible for you and your employees.
